There are many flooring companies out there that will try to convince you to replace your existing wood floors with newer ones. Most of those “salesmen” do not make money unless you do! However, the quality of old wood flooring is usually much better than today’s newer products, and, with the proper refinishing knowledge, equipment, and techniques, your old floors are sure to put a smile on your face, usually for about one-third the cost of replacing them.
